Bird walks

The walk is 3 miles round trip and ascends 800 vertical feet at an easy pace. On return to the parking lot there is an optional trip via car pool down to nearby Martin Meadow Pond where we look for loons, osprey and eagles. The field trip ends at noon although you can leave earlier if you like. Our usual field trip leader is David Govatski who is an experienced birding guide and naturalist. He is the President of the Ammonoosuc Chapter of NH Audubon and the Friends of Pondicherry.
